BERNABÉU MARKET: COME AND GET DOWN... HOW TO GET THERE?
MAIN ACCESS: The market is located under Gate 54 of the stadium. To enter, go to Plaza de los Sagrados Corazones. Below you will find details of all the alternative ways to get there:
METRO
By Metro (The fastest option). It is the most convenient way to avoid the traffic in the area.
- Line 10 (dark blue): Get off at Santiago Bernabéu station. When you get off, you will be practically at the foot of the stadium. You will only have to walk around it briefly in the direction of Plaza de los Sagrados Corazones.
- Line 9 (Purple): Concha Espina station is also an excellent alternative. From the exit, walk about 5 minutes down Avenida de Concha Espina directly to the market.
EMT BUS
By EMT Bus (To enjoy the views)
Numerous lines stop in the vicinity of the stadium. Depending on their origin, you can use:
- Lines running along the Paseo de la Castellana: 14, 27, 40, 147 y 150.
- Lines that run along Concha Espina or the surrounding area: 43 y 120.
- Circular Line: Line C1 or C2 will take you very close if you are coming from other peripheral points of the city.
CERCANÍAS RENFE
By Renfe suburban train (From the outskirts or airport) If you are coming from the outskirts of the city or from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport:
- Go to Nuevos Ministerios station (lines C-1, C-2, C-3, C-4, C-7, C-8 and C-10).
- From there, you can either walk 10-15 minutes up the Paseo de la Castellana (you will see the stadium in the background) or make a quick transfer to Metro Line 10 (one stop to Santiago Bernabeu).
PRIVATE VEHICLE
By private vehicle: If you decide to drive your own car, be aware that the area is very busy. There are several public parking options available in close proximity to the market entrance:
- Plaza de los Sagrados Corazones Public Car Park: Located right in front of the market entrance.
- Palacio de Congresos car park: A few metres away, across the Paseo de la Castellana.
- Important note: We recommend that you check if there is a match or sporting event on that day, as traffic and parking availability may be significantly affected.
TAXI OR VTC
For a door-to-door service, simply tell the driver that you are going to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, entrance at Plaza de los Sagrados Corazones (Gate 54). There are areas set aside for the temporary stopping of vehicles to make it easier to get off the bus comfortably.
